Spring?

Been following the weather in both Toulouse and Carcassonne and up until recently, their temps have been considerably cooler than ours. But they are enjoying a warming taste of spring and we are now enduring the last throes of winter with temps actually lower than theirs!

I would normally be spending time in the garden centers that are so colorfully enticing with their snapdragons, pansies and other seasonal darlings, calling for my money and my energy. But this year it seems to be enough to simply watch the spring blooming trees, bulbs, and perennials do their thing. And then I'll watch it again in a small french village. There will be plenty of time for gardening when I return in late April.
