Tondos

'Tondo' is a high falutin' word that only applies by a very long stretch, but that's okay... it works for me. The reverse circles of dried acrylic I pull off my plastic lid palettes sometime surprise me with their colorful character and I've been saving the good ones for years. A while back I began playing around with them and creating little paintings to highlight their special characters. The three on the left resided in my foyer for a time until they were needed elsewhere... and I recently learned they have moved along with several other paintings in a corporate sale out of Memphis. I'll miss them, but... I have a never ending supply...
