Sunday morn, first day of the new year, I'll be on the road to New Orleans. Will be carrying four paintings, including 'Odyssey' pictured here, just couldn't make anymore happen during this busy and distracting season. That will be a good excuse to make another trip in a month or so. Will be staying until Thursday, enjoying my g-kids, visiting friends, some of whom are rebuilding after Katrina, and just looking around in general. Last we were there we couldn't even drive into the city, but the miles and miles of homes turned inside out that we saw in the burbs tore at our hearts. I do hope to see more signs of recovery... for the sake of all who call this marvelous city home.
